Very cool bronze statue of dam builders7 viewsThere is a big museum on site - and out front they have various memorabilia of the construction. Apparently several people died in the construction of the Hoover Dam.

Power?5 viewsI was quite amazed at how precarious the power lines looked from here. Understanding the distance I am sure they were much stronger than they appeared to be - I just couldn't get over how haphazard it all looked seemingly dangling over the edge like that.

Straight down the face of the Dam7 viewsThis picture really doesn't do justics of how big the dam is. Look carefully for the truck on the lower platform.. that should help you size this thing up.

Out of place it seems8 viewsThe great big guilded door seemed really out of place (especially attached to a great big cement building) - but it did a fine job of showing the pertinent details on the plaques with style.
